The bus 200E travels from the Budapest Airport to Kőbánya-Kispest Metro station, where travelers can hop on the metro and get to not just the city center, but any part of the city they would like. If you are a budget traveler, then the bus 200E and Metro M3 combo is the cheapest way to get from Budapest Airport to the City Center.   • Time to Get to City Center: 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • Frequency: Every 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the time of day.
  • Just keep in mind that the airport bus 100E only runs between 4:10 AM and 1:05 AM, so if you are admiring outside that time frame, you will have to look for an alternative (which we will talk about below!) You can pay with credit card, debit card or cash! You can also get your ticket on the app BudapestGO. We recommend just getting your ticket at the bus stop. Tickets for the 100E airport bus are easy to purchase, as you can do it at the BKK customer service centers in both Terminal 2A and 2B, and the BKK vending machine at the bus stop. However, it does not cover the Pest side of Budapest.
